Ambient Air Quality Monitoring
Our expertise in air quality draws from decades of work on behalf of the Sindh EPA. We have helped Sindh EPA for air pollution monitoring and control through data gathering and analysis, public comment processing, and technical assistance with regulatory development. As a result of this long-standing collaboration, we offer clients a wealth of expertise on the processes, air emissions, and control technologies that affect several key industry sectors known for potential air pollution problems.
STI conducts applied health research focusing on air pollution and environmental exposures, including ambient air, stationary source emissions, indoor air quality, air pollution and personal exposure to particles, biologics, chemicals, light, and other environmental factors. We perform provide research and testing services in the areas of aerosol and bio aerosol, physics and chemistry, analytical sciences (microbiology, organic chemistry, etc.), air quality measurements and modeling, and lighting sciences.
STI’s Quality and technology-focused approach provide solutions based on the following parameters:
- Passive monitoring and Deposition monitoring.
- Measurement of pollutants like -Sulphur dioxide, Nitrogen oxides, Carbon monoxide, Ozone, Carbon, Oxygen, Lead, Ammonia, Benzene, Benzo(a) Pyrene, Arsenic, and Nickel.
- Calculation the total suspended particulate (TSP) matter and fine particulate matter. Also commonly referred to as PM-10 and PM-2.5.
- Determines the concentration of pesticides/PCBs using Polyurethane Foam (PUF) and Dioxins/PAHs.
