VECHICULAR EMISSION MONITORING

Vehicle exhaust emissions are checked at client’s premises on the specified vehicles as per NEQS /WHO/IFC & other international regulation the gas analyzer.

  • Emission factors and relevant activity data to enable exhaust emissions to be calculated for the following categories of road vehicles:
  1. passenger cars
  2. light commercial vehicles
  3. heavy-duty vehicles and buses
  4. mopeds & motorcycles
  • It does not cover non-exhaust emissions such as fuel evaporation from vehicles tyre wear and brake wear or road wear
  • The most important pollutants emitted by road vehicles include:
  1. Ozone precursors (CO, NOx, NMVOCs (Non-Methane Volatile Organic Compounds));
  2. Greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, N2O);
  3. Acidifying substances (NH3, SO2);
  4. Particulate matter mass (PM) including black carbon (BC) and organic carbon (OC).
  5. Carcinogenic species PAHs (Poly Aromatic Hydrocarbons) and POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) ;
  6. Toxic substances (dioxins and furans);
  7. Heavy metals.
